Role Summary:

This role requires an experienced sales professional who can drive revenue growth and expand the customer base for the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and marketing, with a deep understanding of the events industry and its nuances.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that focuses on increasing revenue and enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying and addressing their needs to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate and execute events, conferences, and exhibitions, ensuring seamless delivery and high client satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: National Diploma (NQF 6) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience: At least five years' experience in a similar position
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in MS Office Suite
