**Job Description:**

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager - Commercial Insurance. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, presenting them with suitable product proposals, and confirming policy sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with clients to ensure retention of business and facilitate new business opportunities.
  • Analyse client needs through interviews and/or inspections to identify the best products and services.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and providers to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely administration related to all policies and clients.

Requirements:

  • Eight years of experience in the insurance industry with at least five years interacting with commercial, transport, and personal lines clients.
  • A short-term insurance qualification and RE 5 certification.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and administration skills.
  • Ability to analyse and take decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite, specifically Word and Excel.

Competencies:

  • Time management.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Sound knowledge of insurers and insurance products.
  • Knowledge of the Insurance industry in general.
  • Experience on insurance systems such as Flexi and Cardinal 360.
