About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Manager to oversee the financial health and compliance of our group of companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidations, internal controls, intercompany transactions and reconciliations, board packs, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and liaising with auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare group financial reports and consolidate financial data
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Prepare board packs and present financial information to the board
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts
  • Analyze financial variances and recommend improvements

Requirements

  • CA(SA) qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of group experience
  • Multinational experience is advantageous
  • Consolidations experience is essential
  • Multinational/multi-currencies experience is essential
  • Experience working with large companies with an annual revenue turnover of R2 Billion minimum

Desirable Skills

  • IFRS knowledge
  • Oracle/Hyperion experience would be beneficial
