**Job Description:**

The Frontline Cashier Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a world-class shopping experience at Dis-Chem Pharmacies. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as basic computer literacy and numerical skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To support customer service at point of sale while ensuring a world-class shopping experience
  • To record customer transactions on the Dis-Chem operating system according to company policies & standard operating procedures
  • To adhere to Dis-Chem's customer service policies and procedures
  • To establish a professional relationship with customers
  • To report customer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor, or store management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a retail or cash-handling environment
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Sound numerical skills
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Basic customer service skills
  • Willing and able to work retail hours
