Job Title:

Fleet Services support requires a highly skilled administrative professional to provide expert assistance to the Director: Fleet Services. This role involves rendering secretarial services, providing administrative support, and coordinating with the Director on meetings and budget administration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing secretarial/receptionist support to the Director

  • Rending administrative services

  • Coordinating Director's meetings

  • Assisting Director with budget administration

  • Studying public service and departmental policies and procedures to ensure proper application

Requirements: A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification, an accredited secretarial diploma or administrative qualification at NQF level 5 or higher, and a minimum of 3 years experience in supporting management/senior management.

Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of relevant legislation, office administration, database management, information and records management, procurement processes, financial administration, government systems, and general information support systems such as GoFin/BAS and ECM Livelink/SharePoint. Essential skills include written and verbal communication, computer literacy, client liaison and networking, report writing, research, problem solving, good telephone etiquette, reliability, ability to communicate well with people from different backgrounds, tact and discretion, research and analysis, good grooming and presentation, self-management and motivation.
