Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at TN United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing reactive repairs, voids, and damp and mould projects within the social housing sector. They will be responsible for overseeing commercial controls, maximizing leverage, and working seamlessly within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Commercial Management: Ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to.
  2. Supply Chain Management: Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain, maximizing leverage and working seamlessly within the business.
  3. Team Leadership: Oversee some members of the team.
  4. Schedule of Rates: Possess a firm understanding of the Schedule of Rates for Building Works; a disrepair building maintenance surveying background is desirable.
  5. Industry Experience: Have previous experience working in the social housing/local authority sector.
  6. Communication Skills: Exhibit strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
  7. Work Approach: Demonstrate a proactive approach to work.
  8. Reliability: Have a proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
  9. Driving Licence: Must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
Requirements:
  1. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the social housing, building contractor, and local authority industry.
  2. Leadership Experience: Previous experience overseeing other Surveyors.
  3. IT Literacy: IT and Excel literate.
  4. Qualifications: HNC or equivalent surveying qualification required.
