Refrigeration Operations Supervisor

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in refrigeration management in an FMCG environment. They should possess strong knowledge of the OHS Act, ammonia and MHI legislation, and general machinery regulations.

A minimum qualification of Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is required, along with a Refrigeration Diploma and Ammonia Safe Handling certification. While a qualification as a Fitter or Millwright would be advantageous, it is not mandatory.

Candidates must also demonstrate technical expertise, people management skills, excellent planning and reporting abilities, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and maximising operational efficiency.

We estimate that this position will offer a salary of approximately R400,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This role requires a valid driver's license and reliable transport to fulfill responsibilities effectively.
