Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analysis Specialist to join our team at UYANDISWA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, defining problem statements, and delivering practical solutions that meet business objectives.

This includes data management, project management, creating comprehensive documentation of current models and data flows, collaborating with quantity analysts and data analysts, mentoring junior analysts, and model deployment analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing complex business processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Defining problem statements and developing solutions to drive business results
  • Delivering high-quality deliverables on time and within budget
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in credit risk modelling within financial services
  • Data analysis/business analysis skills with experience in model unpacking and data sourcing
  • Understanding of credit risk models and frameworks (e.g. PD, LGD, EAD calculations)
  • Experience with model deployment processes
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. R, SAS, SQL, Python)
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelors degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field (masters degree preferred)
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

Please note that salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
