YOUR MISSION

New Store Opening - Centurion Mall

Lead and foster a sales-driven environment within a Retail Store to meet or surpass sales targets, KPIs, and profitability objectives, positioning PUMA as the Fastest Sports Brand globally.

  • Accountable for ensuring the Store consistently meets or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability targets through effective short and long-term planning, expense management, and customer service.
  • Ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience within the Store, aligned with PUMA's Brand Values and service expectations.
  • Dedicate the majority of working hours on the sales floor, engaging with customers, driving sales, and mentoring team members.
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in recruiting, training, developing, and nurturing high-performing, results-oriented Associates.
  • Oversee and promote Loss Prevention education and awareness initiatives.
  • Directly responsible for Loss Prevention and operational compliance within the store.
  • Manage and strive to exceed all Inventory and Shrink objectives.
  • Communicate merchandise opportunities effectively to the Store and/or Assistant Store Manager.
  • Participate in new store openings and/or closures; travel may be necessary.
  • Responsible for accurately processing sales, exchanges, and refunds at the cash register, ensuring proper operation of the POS system, handling various forms of payment with precision, and applying discounts appropriately. Also accountable for processing employee transactions in accordance with the Associate Discount Policy & Procedure.
  • Ensure the execution and upkeep of all Visual Guidelines, guaranteeing that the Store's visual presentation consistently meets or exceeds PUMA standards.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the Store in line with relevant guidelines and promptly communicate maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies, and key responsibilities.
  • Execute all necessary actions to maintain a safe and compliant working environment for all Store Associates and Customers.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; overtime may be required.
YOUR TALENT
  • National Senior Certificate
  • One to two years of management experience in a customer-focused retail environment (preferably in apparel/footwear) with a proven track record of results.
