IT Technician Job Description

At CJN IT Solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional IT services and solutions. We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team in Pretoria, where you will play a vital role in providing technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, utilizing your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, TeamViewer, or in-person, ensuring excellent customer service and communication.
  • Conduct regular system checks and network maintenance to prevent technical issues and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and projects, driving innovation and growth.
  • Train end-users on new technologies and IT procedures, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT support role, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft 365, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Own reliable transport and a valid driver's license.
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
