Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Summary:

The Financial Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Businesses to maximise profit, control costs, drive KPIs and ensure optimum working capital for the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Controlling:
    • Maximise returns on financial assets
    • Review balance sheets with the controlling team
    • Manage vendors and ensure compliance
    • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance
    • Manage intercompany and intra-company transactions
    • Manage working capital and cash flow
    • Assess and manage financial risk
    • Renew and update insurance policies
    • Provide guidance on financial decisions
    • Control landed factors in the MM module
    • Manage capital expenditures for new stores and refurbishments
    • Assess impairments with the Central Finance team
  • Reporting and Budgeting:
    • Involve in the budget and strategic planning process
    • Support the Head of Business in planning targets
    • Prepare balance sheets and cash flow statements
    • Control BPC and SAP uploads and reconciliations
    • Manage balance sheet exposures and write-offs
  • Audits and SOPs:
    • Be the point of contact for internal and external audits
    • Coordinate with group internal audit
    • Coordinate external audits for the brand
    • Conduct timely audits to ensure non-store process compliance and minimise company risk
    • Ensure tax compliance
  • Business Functions and Support:
    • Ensure the finance department delivers timely and qualitative information to all departments
    • Partner with the commercial team for vendor rebate management
    • Prepare direct cash flow statements
    • Coordinate with retail treasury on funding requirements
  • Project Analysis and Expansion:
    • Support feasibility analyses for new investments
    • Maintain closing balance sheet controls with retail teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • 10 years' experience in finance, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector or Construction
  • Business acumen and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, SAP, budgeting, and BPC
  • FM experience in KSA
