Job Overview

The Western Cape Government is seeking two suitably qualified individuals to supervise and render system administration and support services to the Department.

This role involves assisting departments with enquiries pertaining to financial systems, investigating discrepancies in data sets, and maintaining reporting categories for financial systems.

In addition, you will perform financial system support functions, provide training to financial system users, and supervise human resource staff.

  1. Main Responsibilities:
  2. Assist departments with enquiries pertaining to financial systems.
  3. Investigate discrepancies in data sets and enable a clean and up-to-date data set.
  4. Maintain and re-verify reporting categories for financial systems.
  5. Perform financial system support functions.
  6. Provide training to financial system users.
  7. Supervise human resource staff.
Key Requirements:
  • An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Management, Accounting, Information Systems or Business Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Financial systems.
Benefits:
  • R 308 154 - R 362 994 per annum (Salary level 7)
