As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for working with our company's book of clients to provide professional financial advice and offerings. This includes reviewing client portfolios, prospecting for new clients, and providing financial products and services in a professional manner.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Meet and review client portfolios to provide professional financial advice and offerings
  • Prospect and obtain new clients to add to our company's book
  • Provide financial products and services in a professional manner, building rapport and confidence with clients
  • Work with various FSP's and internal departments to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Provide advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization
  • Stay informed about market trends and economic developments
  • Assess client risk tolerance and recommend appropriate risk management strategies
  • Provide advice on Investment and Risk Products
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling financial services
  • Network with professionals, attend industry events, and participate in marketing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations
  • Prepare regular reports for management and clients

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a Matric with a tertiary education in a finance-related field. You will also need to have a RE5 qualification and relevant Class of Business's in place. Additionally, you will need to be fit and proper, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial planning role. You will also need to have excellent command of Microsoft Excel or related software, as well as experience working with professionals and high net worth clients. A driver's license and own vehicle are also non-negotiable requirements.
