HR Genie, a leading employer in the industry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable and Payable Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable functions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying transactions to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, preparing proof of deliveries for data entry, processing invoices, printing and distributing invoices and account statements, maintaining cashbooks in the general ledger, and performing reconciliations of accounts payable invoices against statements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Intermediate Excel skills are compulsory
  • Knowledge of reconciliations and accounting principles
  • Previous experience in a creditors/debtors function will be an advantage
