Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to play a crucial role in managing the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
  • Perform risk and value management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Negotiate and procure subcontractor packages.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
  • Manage project cash flow and commercial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit final accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and financial management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software.
