Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to play a crucial role in the financial and contractual management of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender and Contract Management: Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Cost Control and Risk Management: Perform risk and value management, identify and develop responses to commercial risks, and negotiate subcontractor packages.
  • Commercial Performance: Manage project cash flow, provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution, and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit final accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations, proficiency in cost estimation and financial management, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
