Operations Coordinator for Logistics

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and comprehend internal performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to understand the impact of daily operations on these measures.

Adhere to established operational procedures and ensure alignment between logistics operations and internal teams as well as outsourced partners. Identify and recommend enhancements to processes that can elevate service levels and reduce operational costs.

Uphold compliance with quality standards by following documented work instructions and quality management system (QMS) procedures. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to foster operational excellence.

Manage a variety of inventory tasks, including material review board (MRB) activities, cycle counting, and inventory reporting.

Assist in fulfilling research and data needs for both internal and external audit processes.

Oversee inbound and outbound logistics performance in collaboration with outsourced logistics providers.

Prepare necessary documentation for import/export activities, including customs declarations, shipper's letters of instruction (SLI), shipper's export declarations (SED), and import certificates (IC), ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Verify the accuracy of commercial and sales invoices in relation to physical shipments, ensuring alignment with customer SLI, quantities, values, country of origin, and other regulatory obligations. Manage the efficient and compliant movement of goods in accordance with local, national, and international customs regulations.

Other Requirements: This role may involve prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working in confined spaces, as well as bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting. Candidates should be able to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially challenging noise levels. Proficiency in using hand and power tools is also necessary.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management is preferred, or a high school diploma with 2-4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics operations.

Functional Knowledge:

Demonstrates a solid understanding of concepts within the discipline and seeks to broaden skills. Experience with SAP/ECC is highly desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Business Expertise:

Understands key business drivers and utilizes this knowledge to effectively accomplish tasks.

Leadership:

While there are no formal supervisory responsibilities, the role involves providing informal guidance to new team members.

Problem Solving:

Capable of addressing straightforward problems and analyzing potential solutions using technical expertise and judgment.

Impact:

Affects the quality of personal work and that of team members, operating within established guidelines and policies.

U.S. Salary Range: $60,000 - $82,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on various factors, including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and consideration of internal equity among current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in a bonus and stock award program, as applicable.
