Job Details

This Property Manager position offers a rewarding career opportunity with a reputable property firm in Stratford, E15. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of 150 properties, working closely with the Senior Property Manager and Managing Director.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing lettings administration, including referencing prospective tenants, drafting tenancy agreements, and arranging furniture/window treatment.
  • Coordinating inventories/check-ins/check-outs, including arranging inventory/check-in, organising check-out/deposit return/dilapidations, and deposit dispute administration.
  • Overseeing maintenance/repair management, including instructing contractors, organising contractor appointments, liaising with tenants and suppliers, and chasing outstanding works.
  • Organising Gas/Electrical Safety certificates/EPCs, including instructing contractors and organising contractor appointments.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to landlords and tenants, including general queries, maintenance issues, and agreeing new AST terms with both tenant and landlord.
  • Assisting with tenancy extensions/renewals, including drawing up new ASTs/contract extensions/assignments.
  • Conducting regular property visits and inspections, including liaising with overseas landlords, taking on new properties, liaising with developers/sub-agents, and meeting landlords in the UK.
  • Performing general office administration tasks, including general enquiries and key management.
  • Managing rent collections, including reconciliation of incoming rents with client accounts, running statements, chasing late payments, and managing arrears.
Essential Skills

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year's property management experience.
  • Intermediate computer literacy.
  • Experience of lettings/property management software packages.
  • ARLA Qualification (advantageous).
  • Ability to manage your own workload.
