Key Account Manager Job Description

At Indian Ocean Export Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our key clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • Order Management: Work closely with the team leader to ensure that orders are processed quickly and efficiently, communicating issues and problems to clients.
  • Reporting: Assist the Business Development Manager in creating reports for suppliers, providing relevant market feedback on market conditions and brand activations.
  • Brand Development: Work closely with the Business Development Manager on brand development in the market, identifying opportunities for increasing sales revenue.
  • Contract and Negotiation: Ensure shipping and payment terms and conditions are mutually beneficial to both client and IOEC, managing pricing, discounts, and service level agreements.
  • Administration: Provide strong administrative support, including managing client documentation, ensuring accurate pricing and stock, and assisting with debtors and credit limits.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Address client concerns or issues promptly and effectively, resolving conflicts or disputes to maintain a positive relationship.
  • Market and Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape, providing clients with relevant insights and solutions based on market knowledge.
  • Sales and Revenue Targets: Help the Business Development Manager achieve sales and budget targets, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on progress regularly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business
