Project Manager

The Talent Barn is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the design and development of bespoke luxury hospitality projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the design and construction of luxury hospitality projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Apply creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure smooth execution of projects, utilizing advanced Microsoft Office and Project Tracking Software.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and construction standards, particularly in hospitality projects, maintaining the highest level of quality and sustainability.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4, with a Diploma or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in design management, construction, or project management, with a focus on hospitality projects.
  • Professional Accreditation: Registration with SACPCMP as a PrCPM or international equivalent will be advantageous.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Tracking Software, with strong creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit for South Africa.
  • A valid passport is required as travel may be necessary.
