Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Business Requirements: Analyze and comprehend business requirements related to potential changes or transformations.
  • Fostering Stakeholder Relationships: Build positive connections with stakeholders, including business owners, product owners, development teams, trainers, and users.
  • Providing Insights: Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights on optimal solutions for business problems or initiatives.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Lead work-sessions, database design, and solution workshops to gather information and finalize requirements.
  • System Documentation: Clearly identify and document system functional and non-functional requirements in an easily understandable manner.
  • Modeling and Diagramming: Create data, activity models, component flow, functional decomposition, and data flow diagrams using tools like Enterprise Architect and Confluence.
  • Implementing Best Practices: Document and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines to ensure solutions align with group architecture principles.
  • Addressing System Characteristics: Address system characteristics such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability in product design.
  • Presenting and Implementing Solutions: Demonstrate solutions through walk-throughs and prototyping to analysts, project managers, architects, development teams, and testers, aiding in story estimations and prioritization.
  • Overseeing Solution Implementation: Oversee the implementation, testing, and deployment of solutions.
  • Business Transition Support: Assist in business transitions by transferring knowledge to users, trainers, and peers.
  • Continuously Improving Analysis Framework: Continuously research, develop, improve, and implement the analysis framework.
  • Providing Feedback and Support: Offer consistent feedback to relevant stakeholders and provide ongoing support to both business and IT post-implementation.
  • Fostering Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with an agile team using the scrum framework and foster innovation to enhance solutions and processes.
  • Mentoring and Coaching: Guide and support other business and systems analysts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Informatics or any other formal qualification as a Systems Analyst.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Developer in multiple development languages would be advantageous.
  • 3+ years of Systems Analysis experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in Financial Services industry (LISP / Wealth / Asset management experience advantageous).
  • C# experience required.
  • SQL experience required.
  • Open API design patterns and modelling tools experience required.
  • Documentation of Entity Relational Diagrams experience required.
  • SCRUM and other Agile methodologies experience required.
  • UI/UX system design and integration experience greatly advantageous.
  • Strong Data Analysis skills greatly advantageous.
  • Domain Driven Design experience advantageous.
  • Design Thinking principles experience advantageous.
  • Confluence documentation experience advantageous.
  • Enterprise Architect (EA Sparx) diagram drawing experience advantageous.
