We are looking for a Label Solutions Technical Coordinator who will manage both internal and external technical initiatives, acting as a vital connection between MCC Sales and our clients in technical and manufacturing aspects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee technical initiatives aimed at implementing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions across diverse market sectors.
  • Initiate collaborations with material suppliers to foster the development of cutting-edge and eco-friendly label solutions.
  • Establish trial and evaluation protocols in partnership with Quality and Operations, ensuring comprehensive oversight throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Advocate for innovative packaging ideas and facilitate their qualification and implementation with clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key labeler OEMs to stay informed about emerging technologies.
  • Identify market demands for specific sustainable solutions and drive the qualification process.
  • Diagnose and resolve product and process-related challenges, identifying root causes and implementing preventive strategies.
Candidate Profile

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Experience across a broad spectrum of segments within the FMCG industry.
  • A qualification in Packaging, Printing, or Engineering-related fields.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a Technical Support role within the Labels or Flexible Printing sector, with knowledge of Technical Printing and materials/substrates being advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of packaging substrates and printing techniques.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of machinery and technology used in printing environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on follow-up and follow-through.
  • Proven capability to lead and coordinate multiple projects across teams while managing competing priorities.
  • At least 3 years of experience in analyzing technical manufacturing challenges and implementing effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in process control analysis and reporting.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to convey technical information to non-technical colleagues.
  • A commitment to safeguarding MCC's intellectual property.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
