About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Encore Estate Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient site-based operations, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the residential development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead regular quality inspections/site walk arounds to inspect internal and external communal areas for cleanliness and identify any issues.
  • Optimise M&E contracts and monitor contractor performance, including approving and assessing all maintenance work.
  • Co-ordinate planned maintenance with the General Manager, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to required standards.
  • Assist the General Manager with budget preparation and request quotes for work orders.
  • Develop cleaning and security scopes of services for the estate.
  • Manage staff, including holiday requests, uniform allocation, equipment maintenance, and performance appraisals.

Requirements:

  • Essential experience in facilities management within a prestigious development, preferably in residential block management or hospitality sectors.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, and developing a team.
  • Extensive contractor management experience, including approving and assessing sub-contractor works.
  • High level of health and safety understanding and experience.
  • Financial management skills.
