Job Summary

The Receptionist is a key member of the SGS team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients and visitors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide information in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage the reception area, including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
  • Provide support for special events and meetings, including coordinating logistics and ensuring a smooth execution.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.

Key Qualifications

  • Grade 12 education.
  • At least 1 year of reception experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of urgency and attention to detail.

Competencies

  • Telephone etiquette skills are an advantage.
  • Professional demeanor and friendly disposition.
