Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to join our diverse marketing team and take our company's social media presence to the next level.

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Paid Media Specialist in creating and executing social media campaigns that effectively promote and communicate our company's message and values, engage with our target audience, and drive traffic and conversions to our website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage a strategically driven social content calendar and coordinate the in-house creative production team for effective implementation of the schedule.
  • Help manage and produce creative and original content (copy, images, and video) for all social media platforms.
  • Set up and optimize our company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of our social content.
  • Join relevant conversations on behalf of our company and provide support to current and prospective customers.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure that all customer-facing social complaints/issues are resolved with urgency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of social media marketing campaigns and provide data analysis and metric reporting to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years proven working experience in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with good multitasking and organizational ability.

Salary: R17,000 CTC
