Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Encore Estate Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our residential development in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular quality inspections/site walk arounds to ensure cleanliness and identify any faults or damage to the building and equipment.
  • Manage contractors, monitoring their work and performance, including approving and assessing all maintenance work, ensuring they work safely and administering signing-in/out procedures.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance with the General Manager, ensuring that items identified on the Planned Maintenance Schedule are completed on time and to required standards.
  • Assist the General Manager with preparing budgets and requesting quotes for work orders.
  • Design cleaning and security scopes of services for the estate.
  • Team manage staff, including holidays, sickness, uniforms, equipment, and appraisals.

Requirements:

  • Experience in facilities management within a prestigious development is essential. Experience in residential block management or hospitality sectors is also desirable.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, and developing a team.
  • Extensive experience in contractor management, including approving and assessing sub-contractor works.
  • High level of health and safety understanding and experience.
  • Financial management experience.
