The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling of sales orders, ensuring timely manufacturing and delivery of products. This involves maintaining customer satisfaction and promoting the company and its products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with enquiries related to sales and quotations.
  • Advise customers on cost-saving opportunities that promote market development and secure customers.
  • Process Sales Orders within the ERP system.
  • Communicate with production and planning departments to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with Sales Order timeously.
  • Correspond with customers on the status and progress of Sales Orders and inform them when the Sales Order is ready for collection.
  • Ensure releases (forecast orders) are received weekly or monthly from customers and communicate any changes with production and planning departments.
  • Create and issue picking slips within the ERP system.
  • Process Sales Invoices based on Delivery Notes and submit them to the financial department.
  • Create and send pro-forma invoices to C.O.D. Customers and follow through on deposits and final payment.
  • Responsible for costing and sending quotations to customers, with approval from the Commercial Manager.
  • Update Sales Price Lists regularly and keep customers informed monthly.
  • Filing requirements.
  • Support and assist the Commercial Manager in his daily duties and responsibilities.
