Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Summary:

  • Perform financial reporting against budgets and/or set targets
  • Assist Financial Manager with root cause analysis and action plan compilation
  • Compile month-end audit file, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory legislation, and company policy
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and general ledger
  • Manage creditor accounts, payments, and purchasing
  • Perform daily and monthly cashbook and petty cash reconciliations
  • Manage Fixed Assets Register and capital expenditure documentation

Essential Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving, numerical, analytical, and computer skills
  • Knowledge of Great Plains
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
