About the Role

Genuine Connection Promotions (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our dynamic management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, control, and coordinate the manufacturing process to ensure timely completion of products within quality standards.
  • Manage human and material resources to optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement production plans, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and costing requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance and use of equipment and tools, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Review worker performance, motivate staff, and identify training needs to improve productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Senior certificate with tertiary qualification in garment construction, clothing manufacturing, or related field.
  • Previous experience in CMT production management with large teams, time and work measurement techniques, and quality management systems.
  • Strong computer skills, including planning, driving, and implementing work through production planning systems and management report systems.
  • Good understanding of South African labor context, laws, and application.
Skills and Qualities
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong numerical ability, and ability to act decisively to resolve staff and resource-related problems.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to motivate others, inspire trust, and work under pressure while maintaining a balanced outlook and problem-solving orientation.
