About the Role

The Senior Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of various multi-disciplinary projects in the industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects from conceptualization to final handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards;
  • Coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, and deadlines;
  • Developing and managing project timelines, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery;
  • Monitoring project progress and resolving any issues or delays that may arise;
  • Budget and cost management, including preparing and managing project budgets, approving and processing invoices, variations, and change orders, and providing regular financial reporting to senior management and clients;
  • Team and stakeholder coordination, including leading and coordinating teams of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, and liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met;
  • Quality assurance and compliance, including ensuring projects comply with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols, and conducting regular site visits to monitor quality and progress.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project management;
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary projects (industrial, commercial, residential, and retail);
  • A solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A valid driver's license.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately R40,000 per month, based on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
