At Abantu Staffing Solutions, we are seeking an exceptional Operations Team Lead to oversee the management of our branch. This role is a critical part of our team and will involve supervising staff, receiving stock, quoting and invoicing clients, following up with clients to maintain good relationships, monitoring stock levels and ordering stock, conducting regular stocktakes, planning daily tasks for staff, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees and clients.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

The Operations Team Lead will play a key role in driving the success of our branch, and will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including supervising staff and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Receiving and processing stock, including inventory management and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, including quoting and invoicing, and following up to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, including phone calls, emails, and meetings
  • Monitoring stock levels and ordering stock as needed to ensure optimal inventory levels
  • Conducting regular stocktakes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Planning and coordinating daily tasks for staff to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees and clients, including adhering to company health and safety protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Driver's license and own transport (an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of Xhosa (an advantage)
