Assessor & Moderator Millwright Trade

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Trade Specialist - Instructor & Moderator at West Coast Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating various training programs, including leadership and apprenticeships.

• Plan and prepare teaching materials to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Identify and assess student progress, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.
• Manage administrative tasks, including record maintenance and compliance, to maintain high standards of quality assurance.
• Evaluate training effectiveness regularly, making adjustments as necessary to optimize results.
• Facilitate training programs, instructing learners in machine part repair using welding tools, and aligning equipment according to technical manuals.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Relevant education or training qualification (NQF 5+).
• Millwright Trade Test and PLC fault finding skills Red Seal.
• Assessor and Moderator certification for Generic Management Qualification (NQF Level 4).
• Basic health and safety knowledge and proficiency in Arc and Tig welding.

Previous experience in facilitation and assessment is essential, with a proven track record of leadership facilitation and assessment experience.

We are looking for an individual who possesses strong organizational and planning skills, effective interpersonal and communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
