Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Owner Driver to join our team at Buffalo International Logistics. As an Owner Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Safety: Operate your vehicle safely at all times, following traffic laws and regulations.
  • Compliance: Comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing the logistics industry.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being punctual, courteous, and professional in your interactions.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of your work, including invoices, receipts, and logbooks.
  • Financial Management: Manage your finances effectively, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking expenses.
  • Time Management: Plan your routes and schedules efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of driving experience.
  • Drivers license must be 6+ years old or older.
  • Must be above 30 years old.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak well.
  • Must have worked in a courier/logistics company.
  • Basic tech knowledge.
  • Have a smartphone.
  • Must have your own vehicle (preferred but not compulsory).
  • Knowledge of route planning.
  • Understanding of customer service and customer satisfaction.
