About Our Team

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a safe working environment for everyone involved in our operations.

Job Requirements

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional to develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.

Main Duties
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Design and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety performance, compliance, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure continued compliance.
  • Develop and conduct emergency response drills to enhance preparedness.
  • Negotiate with external safety consultants and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless cooperation.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a health and safety management role, preferably within the construction sector.
  • Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is strongly preferred.
