Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods and services from global vendors, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contract Management: Review and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that terms and conditions are met.
  • SLA and Credit Management: Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are in place with suppliers and that credit notes are obtained and captured by Finance.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze and report on annual spend per supplier, provide financial oversight on spend analytics and inflation, and leverage score card analytics to make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a Service Provider environment or ICT/Telecommunications Industry, 5-10 years in initiating, executing, evaluating, and managing strategic sourcing activities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce, Supply Chain, or related tertiary qualification.
  • Skills: Excellent understanding of procurement processes, project management or service delivery background, product knowledge of networking, voice, and secure cloud products and services, knowledge and experience of network infrastructure, excellent data analytical skills, advanced Excel, and other MS Office applications.
