Home Concept is a well-established company in South Africa, offering kitchen and furniture solutions. Our dynamic team seeks a skilled carpenter or cabinet maker to join us in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Job Description
  • We require an individual with experience in constructing custom-built cabinets and/or installations based on company-provided specifications, kitchen design, sales, and customer service.
  • The successful candidate must have skills in designing kitchens, BICs, custom cabinetry, and installation experience.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  2. Measure and consult on-site to ensure accurate quotes and project management.
  3. Develop inspiring proposals that meet client expectations.
  4. Manage customer quotes, contracts, payments, and orders efficiently.
  5. Track and manage orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
  6. Follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  7. Meet monthly sales targets through effective marketing and sales strategies.
  8. Review test and measure reports to improve project quality.
  9. Promote the brand by participating in tradeshows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  10. Maintain awareness of the target market, competitors, trends, innovations, and products.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or higher qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a kitchen designer or carpenter (or related roles).
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and ability to work independently.
  • A reliable vehicle for business use is essential.
  • An advantage: background in Kitchen Design; training will be provided for our system.
  • Sales-driven approach and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer Service is paramount, with a positive attitude towards meeting customer needs.
  • Able to work flexible retail hours and maintain a high level of organization and reliability.
  • Good time management and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Previous experience with CAD software and 3D modeling is beneficial but not required.
