Sydsen Sales Development Representative

Seeking a talented Sales Representative to join our team at Sydsen, a dynamic and growing steel supply company with a strong presence in the industrial and construction sectors. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in managing and growing our client base, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Provide expert product knowledge and technical support to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible steel solutions.
- Process customer orders and quotations accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless delivery and invoicing.
- Collaborate with the external sales team and other departments to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to continuously improve sales strategies.
- Ensure all administrative aspects of sales are up-to-date, including invoicing, delivery scheduling, and inventory management.
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in internal sales, preferably in steel or industrial sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of steel products or industrial materials is highly valued.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical product details and provide hands-on assistance when needed.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Customer Focus: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating long-term relationships.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with experience in CRM systems being an advantage.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets, with a strong desire to grow and develop within the company.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
