Key Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering.
- Preferred additional qualifications: MBA, MEM, Operations Management, Project Management, or related fields.
- 7+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, food processing, chemical processing, or FMCG sectors, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Experience in design aspects of Mechanical, Process, or Control systems.
- Desirable skills: Familiarity with Embedded systems, C programming, Instrumentation, and PLCs.
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Projects.
- Strong grasp of engineering principles and control systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, heat transfer, and production methodologies.
- Understanding of quality control processes in production settings.
- Familiarity with FSSC2200 and OHSA standards.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics operations.
- Balance delegation with hands-on management effectively.
- Contribute to the formulation of annual and long-term business strategies.
- Monitor performance against key business indicators.
- Develop business cases for significant projects and activities.
- Estimate the necessary financial and human resources to meet performance goals.
- Assist in the creation and management of capital project budgets for plant upgrades.
- Report on departmental performance and set objectives for team members.
- Implement corrective actions to meet annual business targets.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements within the operational area.
- Recognize individual development needs within the team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.
- Contribute to the overall manufacturing strategy.
- Manage production and processing facilities effectively.
- Oversee raw and packaging materials management.
- Monitor capacity utilization and recommend improvements.
- Enhance overall equipment efficiency and address inefficiencies.
- Stay updated on legislative changes and ensure compliance.
- Plan resources and daily priorities according to production schedules.
- Achieve production targets as outlined in the production plan.
- Optimize plant operations to enhance efficiency and reduce losses.

- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
