Key Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Preferred additional qualifications: MBA, MEM, Operations Management, Project Management, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, food processing, chemical processing, or FMCG sectors, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Experience in design aspects of Mechanical, Process, or Control systems.
  • Desirable skills: Familiarity with Embedded systems, C programming, Instrumentation, and PLCs.

  • Balance delegation with hands-on management effectively.
  • Contribute to the formulation of annual and long-term business strategies.
  • Monitor performance against key business indicators.
  • Develop business cases for significant projects and activities.
  • Estimate the necessary financial and human resources to meet performance goals.
  • Assist in the creation and management of capital project budgets for plant upgrades.
  • Report on departmental performance and set objectives for team members.
  • Implement corrective actions to meet annual business targets.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements within the operational area.
  • Recognize individual development needs within the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.
  • Contribute to the overall manufacturing strategy.
  • Manage production and processing facilities effectively.
  • Oversee raw and packaging materials management.
