Job Overview

Talent Scout Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Chief Supply Chain Operations Director to lead our supply chain team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Strategy
    • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that align with business goals
    • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Procurement
    • Lead the procurement team to source high-quality products at optimal prices
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods
    • Implement efficient inventory management strategies to reduce waste and optimize stock turnover
  • Logistics and Distribution
    • Develop and manage distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
    • Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transport routes and reduce costs
  • Demand Forecasting and Planning
    • Oversee the demand planning team to forecast accurate demand
    • Adjust supply chain strategies in response to sales trends and customer needs
  • Cost and Budget Management
    • Control and manage supply chain-related costs to ensure alignment with financial goals
    • Prepare and manage the supply chain budget to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Sustainability and Risk Management
    • Develop and implement sustainable sourcing and supply chain practices
    • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain business continuity
  • Technology and Process Optimization
    • Use data analytics to track and improve supply chain performance
    • Lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes and enhance productivity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in management
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy (MS Office - especially Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
  • Experienced on Supply Chain ERP modules, preferably SAP
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
