We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Workshop Technician/ Manager to join our team at Performability Recruitment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a positive after-sales service experience to all customers, handling customer complaints/queries efficiently, and maintaining a Job Card to record any receipt documents for all returns received for repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate all returns failures and liaise with Management/Customers timeously, irrespective of whether the return is conducted as no charge or charge out.
  • Administration and control of all documents related to repairs, i.e. Invoicing; GRN and waybills
  • Ensure economic feasibility of repair, when such products under warrantee is not feasible to repair consideration must be given to extract good spare parts prior to scrapping products
  • Provide telephonic or on-site technical support on all products, either directly with the customer or when asked to do so by customer services department
  • Adhere to all company rules, regulations and conditions of work OHSA/CPA
  • Produce technical reports on any product as required by management
  • Responsible for control of stock holding of common spare parts
  • Support Management in the task of ensuring the most profitable and effective running of the repair process
  • Conduct (PDI) pre delivery inspection on machines
  • Housekeeping - Ensure that workshop is kept clean at all times
