Job Summary
LMP RECRUIT is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our branch and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all operational aspects, including distribution, operations, customer service, human resources, administration, short term rental, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Branch Operations: Manage all operational aspects, including distribution, operations, customer service, human resources, administration, short term rental, and sales.
- Market Analysis: Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
- Business Planning: Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans to meet goals and metrics.
- Budget Management: Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately to optimize branch performance.
- Improvement Initiatives: Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions to address challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge with other branches and head office on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.
- Customer and Employee Satisfaction: Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
- Ethical Standards: Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws.
- Network Development: Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.
Requirements
To succeed as our Sales Director, you will need:
- Business Degree: Completed Business Degree plus a minimum of 5 years' management experience in the Material Handling Equipment/Forklift industry.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Autoline/Kerridge and Advanced MS Office skills.
- Management Experience: Proven knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
- Sales Performance: Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry rules and regulations would be advantageous.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
