Job Description

We are looking for a talented Video Technician to join our crew on the high seas.

As a Video Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining all video equipment on board, including cameras, projectors, and editing software.

You will ensure that all equipment is properly set up and tested before each show or event, and that technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

You will work closely with other technicians and performers to ensure seamless production, and maintain a high level of quality control for all video content.

You will also assist with the creation and editing of promotional videos and other marketing materials, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in video technology.

You will provide excellent customer service to guests and promptly address any concerns or inquiries related to video equipment or content.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain all video equipment on board, including cameras, projectors, and editing software
  2. Set up and test equipment before each show or event
  3. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide quick and efficient solutions
  4. Collaborate with other technicians and performers to ensure seamless production
  5. Maintain a high level of quality control for all video content

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Video Technician, preferably in a live entertainment setting
  • Extensive knowledge of various video equipment and software, including cameras, projectors, and editing programs
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality video content
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on board a cruise ship
