About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firefighter to join our team at the Fidelity Services Group. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to fires, rescues, and other emergencies in a safe and effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of firefighting procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will work closely with our incident command team to assess situations and develop effective responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to fires, rescues, and other emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Assess situations and develop effective responses in collaboration with the incident command team
  • Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and vehicles
  • Conduct training and drills to ensure team readiness and proficiency

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 as a minimum school qualification
  • IFSAC Accredited
  • NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 certification
  • Firefighter II Certification
  • At least 2-3 years of related experience
  • Valid code C1 drivers license with PrDP
  • Advanced driving experience advantageous
  • Medically and physically fit
