Architectural Services is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, including fires, rescues, and hazardous material incidents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of firefighting systems, hazmat procedures, and emergency medical techniques. A valid code C1 driver's license with PrDP is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and conduct firefighting operations
  • Participate in regular training exercises and drills to maintain skills and certifications
  • Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and vehicles
  • Collaborate with other emergency services teams to ensure effective response and coordination

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 as a minimum school qualification
  • IFSAC Accredited and NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 certification
  • Valid code C1 driver's license with PrDP
  • Advanced driving experience advantageous
  • Medically and physically fit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
