Neurodiverse Student Advocate

We are committed to providing exceptional support to our neurodiverse students and are seeking a dedicated Counsellor to join our team. As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and inclusive environment for students to express themselves and access the support they need.
Your key responsibilities will include providing individualised support to students, facilitating workshops and training sessions for staff and students, and collaborating with the Registrar Department to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide individualised support to neurodiverse students, including one-on-one counselling and group therapy;
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and students on supporting neurodiverse students;
- Collaborate with the Registrar Department to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions;
- Represent the department at events such as Open Days, Graduations, campus initiatives and any other event indicated throughout the year;
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external organisations to enhance the support provided to neurodiverse students;
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services and make recommendations for improvement.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled Counsellor with experience working with neurodiverse students, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
