Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Newmark Hotels. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to maintenance and facilities management.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and supervision to maintenance team members, ensuring their schedules and rosters are managed efficiently.
  • Maintenance Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and implement annual preventative maintenance schedules for plant, machinery, and equipment, guaranteeing optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
  • Emergency Response: Promptly address and respond to building safety concerns, ensuring the well-being of occupants and visitors.
  • Statutory Compliance: Maintain accurate records for DB boards, standby generators, lifts, boilers, room sprinkler systems, and fire safety equipment, adhering to relevant regulations.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Obtain necessary approvals to procure maintenance supplies and repairs, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills, in-depth knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and HVAC operations, proficiency in managing facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, strong attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving abilities, highly responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
