The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing account plans to drive sales growth and market share. They will also be responsible for conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential client pain points.
In addition, the successful candidate will assist in crafting proposals, RFP responses, and presentations to secure new projects or expand existing contracts. Leading negotiations and closing deals that align with both client needs and company goals is crucial for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 2-3 years' relevant experience is required, along with strong experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
A proven track record of cost control, budgeting, and process improvement is highly desirable. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in key account management, business development, or sales within the renewable energy or battery storage sectors is essential.
The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and exceeding sales targets. Experience with energy storage systems, renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.) or related energy technologies is essential for success in this role.
