About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, operations, soft services, OHS, and CAPEX projects. They will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities meet the needs of our tenants, employees, and support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and operation of all facilities, including preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
  • Manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead a team of facilities management professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management programs and strategies.
  • Manage contracts and vendors.
Requirements
  • Level 6 - Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or building science.
  • 10 or more years' experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years at a supervisory level.
  • Experience in operations management and financial management.
  • Professional certifications in facilities management are a plus.
