Explorer Camp Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Explorer Camp Manager to join our team at Staff Unlimited Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the assistant or Lodge Manager to ensure seamless daily operations of the lodge.
  • Conduct thorough housekeeping checks to maintain high standards.
  • Supervise restaurant operations before and during mealtimes, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Verify that meal standards are met before meals are served.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing their needs and requests during their stay.
  • Act on guest requests for additional services and supplies.
  • Communicate with the hospitality manager and reservations team to report anomalies, variances, and new ideas for improvements.
  • Complete stock counts and submit weekly and monthly reports.

Requirements:

  • Hotel Management Diploma/Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Front of House or a similar position.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of LIGHTSPEED and PROTEL is advantageous.
  • Good guest relations and hosting skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to contribute to team success.
  • Attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, and Front Office operations.
