We are looking for a Healthcare Administration Coordinator who can effectively manage administrative tasks and provide excellent patient care at Dis-Chem Pharmacies. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Tasks: Process medical aid payments, move patients through appointments as scheduled, obtain medical reports if required, and ensure the reception area is clean and maintained.
  • Patient Care: Answer incoming calls within a reasonable time, use proper telephone etiquette when speaking with patients over the phone, and give relevant and accurate information to callers regarding their requests, questions or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: Grade 12 / Matric
  • Skills: Ability to work under pressure, deadline driven, follow and give oral and written instructions
